I first met Alex when we both were working as sales assistants at the same shop in Southampton. Alex was in the beginning stages of his 6STREET magazine highlighting culture in the city which I was lucky enough to be involved with. 6STREET was the the love child of his production and the creatives he has surrounded himself with - the physical copy encompassing all. I remember when I saw the first test issue, although it was a rough draft, it held a far deeper influence- that of which felt like a self made success; influencing me, and others around me, to take control of our own platforms rather than rely on an already overcrowded industry. The first issue of 6STREET is, and always remain, an entity of collaboration, which seemingly has kickstart new projects and connections.
