EXPLORING OWNERSHIP AND AGENCY

Millie and I studied our fine art  undergraduate degree at Southampton Solent, we then began working together as sales assistants. Millie is a social media executive now while still living in Southampton, however, she is on the cusp of discovering what life she wants to lead. Whether it is university or career, these journeys are held together by the string of objects that provide a deeper sense of security and reinvent the feeling of home. We often speak of feeling displaced in this post 'covid' era and how we try to make sense of the experiences we might have bypassed because of it - which begs the question... Are our objects a place holder for what we had missed out on?
